Resetting or restoring the factory setting of a Netgear router is a very easy process. Just follow these simple steps given below:-

1. Find "Reset" button on your router: - At the side of your router you will see many ports, among which one of them would be a small round shaped button labeled as "Reset" or "Restore Factory Settings”. The size of the button is kept small to avoid accidental pressing of it.

2. To switch on the Power button you need to press both the buttons one by one for 5-6 seconds and hold on it until the Power button will start blinking red.

3. After the Power button starts blinking, release the "Wireless" and "WPS" buttons. The router will reboot and all the factory setting will be restored.
